Perfect Day by Rebecca Cristante

Perfect Day
by Rebecca Cristante

If I could go back to a perfect day
the sun is shining
through an open window
the air smells fresh
of soap
and dirt
and pollen
as the floor dries
from a fresh moppen.
And we are sitting,
having coffee.
