Call for Poetry Submissions: Dublin Arts Collective Scary Art Show

DUBLIN, CA–What secret fears do you harbor in the recesses of your mind? Viewless Wings is partnering with the Dublin Arts Collective Scary Art Show (October 14-31) to celebrate the spooky side of poetry alongside a selection of scary art.

We’re looking for scary, creepy, spooky, unsettling poetry! Poetry submitted can be hair-raising, humorous, or ‘deadly’ serious, as long as it adheres to the scary theme. Bring on the creative creepiness. From Edgar Allan Poe to Emily Dickinson, poets have explored the macabre side of language.

The selected poem will be on display at the Scary Art Show, October 14-31 (held in the F.CO. Art Gallery in Dublin, California) and published on ViewlessWings.com. All poems submitted must be original work. Previously published poems are acceptable as long as the submitter retains publishing rights.

Entries will be accepted up until midnight Friday, October 8, and will be judged by James Morehead (Poet Laureate – Dublin, California). Submit your poem through Submittable (one submission per entry, each entry no more than one page, Times New Roman, 12-point).
